Voting on Amendments to the 1993 Constitution

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the postponement of the “all-Russian vote” on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. “Voting” postponed to a later date, but not canceled
The main essence of the amendments was invented and boils down to finding a legal formula for extending the supreme power of V. Putin. All other “additions” and “changes” are farce and “distracting maneuvers”.
“All-Russian voting” is not a referendum, its decisions are not binding and at the same time, the procedure does not even provide any hint of independent monitoring of the voting process and calculation of its results. The organizers - the bourgeois authorities of the Russian Federation - can easily lead dependent groups of people to the ballot boxes and draw any numbers of results.
Even apolitical citizens understand what the outcome of the “vote” will be. Therefore, in order not to disrupt the appearance, the authorities add various “impregnations” to the Constitution, which are designed to lure the public into the “voting” process.
The Yeltsin Constitution itself, written and carried out under tank volleys in 1993, does not change its essence in any way from the proposed "amendments." It presupposes authoritarian presidential power, designed to ensure the dominance of oligarchic groups of large capitalists in the country. It was for this purpose that it was created during the time of Yeltsin.
It is supposed to entice the "electorate" with caricature-populist phrases, such as a promise of indexation of pensions and equating the minimum wage to the cost of living. It is significant that these cartoonish "amendments" are proposed only a few years after raising the retirement age - after a blow to the most important social achievement that citizens of the Russian Federation simultaneously lost.
At the same time, the Constitution becomes even more reactionary: it is proposed to include the words about “faith in God” in it, at the suggestion of the Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill.
It is no less significant that the day of "all-Russian voting" was originally scheduled for April 22 - the day of the 150th anniversary of V.I. Lenin. Voting for the reactionary Constitution was scheduled for the birthday of the greatest man in Russian history - apparently to show the depth of degradation and decline that has befallen our country over the past 30 years. Instead of Soviet power, we now have an authoritarian presidential regime, instead of socialism - a "living wage" for poor citizens and the evocative wealth of capitalist oligarchs, instead of the development of education and science - "faith in God" transmitted by "ancestors".
The Bolsheviks urge fellow citizens to boycott the farce, called the "all-Russian vote." Let the capitalists themselves vote for their Constitution and the "amendments" to it.
We will not go to the ballot boxes, and on April 22 we will bring fresh flowers to the monuments of V.I. Lenin, reminding fellow citizens of the alternative to capitalism that offers mankind the teachings of Marxism-Leninism.
The boycott of bourgeois “votes” is a step in the struggle for revolutionary changes in society.
