① First, the North will permanently dismantle the Dongchang-ri missile engine test site and launch platform under the observation of experts from relevant countries.

② The North expressed its willingness to continue to take additional measures, such as the permanent dismantlement of the nuclear facilities in Yeongbyeon, as the United States takes corresponding measures in accordance with the spirit of the June 12 US-DPRK Joint Statement.

③ The two sides agreed to cooperate closely in the process of pursuing complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

6. Chairman Kim Jong Un agreed to visit Seoul at an early date at the invitation of President Moon Jae-in.

The pension reform and euthanasia are links of one chain

At the end of August, in the Russian media, in connection with the population's discussion of the pension reform and recent amendments to the pension legislation, a proposal to legalize euthanasia for the elderly appeared. The corresponding initiative is posted on the website of the Russian Public Initiative (ROI). The initiative under № 50Ф46787 presupposes voluntary euthanasia for terminally ill patients and elderly people who have lost the meaning of life. In order for the initiative to be considered at the legislative level, only 100 thousand people (or 0.1% !!!) of citizens should vote for it. The text of the publication notes that "in connection with the discussion of changes in the Pension System in the Russian Federation and the lack of real social protection in the future for elderly citizens who may remain without means of subsistence, namely, without work and without a pension, it is more humane to provide the possibility to this category of people to carry out voluntary euthanasia." It is interesting to quote the statements of those who responded to this proposal by the ROI.

They read :-
- ... Yes, most times, their strength will run out before retirement, they will not be able to work, there is nothing to live for without a pension, here to the citizens of pensioners, voluntary euthanasia! Use for your pleasure! In order not to wait until they themselves do die of starvation.

- ... Now, when the state can not provide normal old age, retirement and social protection, you can die too ??? What nonsense! What is worse ???????

- ... The author of such a proposal must first be euthanized with all his relatives! How can this be offered? Clearly, this is a political proposal, and not humanity to the people of the country. This - the order of the West turned to our corrupt non-Christians! Under this pretext, it is easier to get rid of those who are unwanted, to take possession of the property of lonely people, to reduce the cost of medical care. Such a proposal the government should not even consider! What blasphemy over the people!

"... It's not about a person's voluntary decision, but about pushing a person to suicide!" And do not change the concept ...

- ... For fome people who are terminally ill, euthanasia is very necessary, especially for mentally ill people. I am for this law! Although there is a difference where a person is terminally ill - this is one thing. But where there is no pension and work and the person has nothing to eat - this is different. Shame on the state, where people starve to death.

- ... I propose to introduce compulsory euthanasia for the developers themselves of the pension reform and leave the old people in peace!

- ... Completely logical completion of all this (discussion of the pension) process! Now it's clear even to a fool that those who started all this are simply Satanists and nonhumans.

"... They already spit on their old people." The person who suggested euthanasia is a bad person and worse than an animal.

"... My God ... Are you even crazy?" Not only do they mock at people of old age, so now it goes like this: "You do not want to work?" You can die voluntarily!

- ... Euthanasia in a number of European countries is legalized, for example, in the Netherlands. But it is used in exceptional cases, when a person is really incurably ill (cancer) and is suffering immensely. There is a very complicated procedure for obtaining permission for euthanasia. In our country, such a law can not be taken, since there are so many abuses in any sphere. And in this - and even more so ...

The question arises: From where does this decision result in this way to destroy the people of the older generation? It seems that all this is part of the last point of the plan for the destruction of Russia, developed by the world financial and political elite of the West, the so-called. "Golden Billion", based on the postulates of the misanthropy of Thomas Malthus (XVIII century) and the doctrine of the head of the US CIA (since its inception in 1947), Allen Dulles (after the end of World War II) in the collapse of the USSR ("Russia must be put in its place "), (Allen Dulles 1893-1969)

We live in a historical epoch when the confrontation between Russia and the United States acquires the character of a conflict of civilizations: the confrontation between the bourgeois world and the original Russian civilization, along with its supporters China and India. Almost 7.5 billion people live in the world today. In China, -1 billion 389 million, in India - 1 billion 370 million people (different sources give slightly different figures. In India, due to the large number of people without registration of residence, and often lack of passports, the population figure is not entirely accurate. In these two countries there is a rapid population growth.) The US population is 317 million 12 thousand people, Russia - 143 million (from the bottom, quite a lot of migrants from the former Soviet republics who received Russian citizenship).

The greater the population of the planet, the greater the need for food. This issue is easily solved using the achievements of agricultural science, increasing labor productivity, using new energy sources and modern soil cultivation technologies, etc. But the so-called "golden billion" does not need "extra mouths to feed" and therefore, starting with Malthus, bourgeois theory preaches the need to eliminate "superfluous" people. For the "golden billion" for comfortable living and its services, 2-3 billion people is sufficient enough, and from the remaining 4 billion "elected" they believe it necessary to get rid of.

Its goal of reducing the planet's population today is the "great hail on the hill" - through the organization of local wars (Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc.); by creating epidemics of previously unknown deadly diseases in Africa and a number of countries in the Muslim world (hidden bacteriological warfare); by artificially organized natural disasters in different parts of the world (climate war).

Under the special sights, the United States has always had the Soviet Union as a potential grave-digger of the capitalist formation, and later Russia as a country populated by a disobedient people.

The post-war Doctrine of Allen Dulles, director of the CIA of the United States (created in 1947), became the basis of the so-called Harvard and Houston projects to destroy the USSR, and then - Russia.

The Dulles Doctrine on the methodology for the destruction of the USSR says: "Literature, theatre, cinema - everything will depict and glorify the most baseless human feelings. We will support in every possible way all those who will instill in the human consciousness a cult of sex, violence, sadism, betrayal - in a word, all immorality. In the governance of the state we will create chaos and confusion. We will be invisible, but actively and constantly promote the tyranny of officials, bribe-takers, unprincipled. Honesty and decency will be mocked and nobody will be needed, will become a relic of the past. Rudeness and arrogance, lies and deceit, drunkenness and drug addiction, betrayal, nationalism and enmity of peoples - all of this we will cultivate in the minds of people. And only a few, very few will guess what is really happening."

On a specific US-developed program for the destruction of the USSR, set out in the so-called Harvard project and its supplement - the Houston project, concerning the destruction of the Slavic peoples, it became known in the 80s. The Harvard project for the destruction of the USSR consists of 3 parts. In the first part of the project, concerning actions in the period 1985-1990, the implementation of "perestroika" is planned in the USSR. The goals of "perestroika" are defined: 1. Publicity; 2. The struggle for socialism with a "human face"; 3. Preparation of reforms from "socialism" to "capitalism"; 4. "Perestroika" should be presided over by the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPSU (Gorbachev, our comment).

The second part of the project outlines the actions in the period 1990-1995. The objectives of this period are: 1. Elimination of the world socialist system; 2. Liquidation of the Warsaw Treaty; 3. Liquidation of the CPSU; 4. Liquidation of the USSR; 5. Elimination of patriotic consciousness; 6. "Reform" should be led by another "leader" (Yeltsin, the head of government in 1991-1999).

The third part of the project, entitled "Completion", covering 1995-2000, outlines the following tasks: 1. Liquidation of the Soviet Army; 2. Elimination of Russia as a state; 3. Elimination of the attributes of socialism - free general education, free medical care and the introduction of attributes of capitalism - everything must be paid for! 4. Elimination of a peaceful life in Leningrad and Moscow; 5. Elimination of public and state property everywhere.

The "Completion" stage was planned to accompany the "freezing" of the hungry population in the cities of Russia and the construction of good roads and seaports so that raw materials and other Russian riches could be exported abroad. The "Completion" stage should be led by another "leader".

The statistics of the last 12 years confirm the annual export of our wealth from Russia in the following quantities: 57% of oil produced, 40% of gas, 90% of copper, 97% of nickel, 99% of aluminum.

AS TO SEE, EVERYTHING PLANNED IN THE HARVARD PROJECT HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED IN 20 YEARS.

The Houston project was developed for Russia after the collapse of the USSR. It is aimed at dismembering Russia into small states. The territory of Russia has already been divided and the owners of its parts have been determined: Siberia must withdraw to the United States. The north-west - to Germany, the South and the Volga region - to Turkey, the Far East - to Japan.

One of the important provisions of the Houston project is the program "for the total destruction of the 300 million Slavic population, together with the Jews that were related to them." One of the developers of the Houston project, Zbigniew Brzezinski, defined the fate of the Jews: "First we need to use them to split and destroy the Slavic peoples, and then the same fate awaits them on the pretext that they did not fit into the market."

The hatred for the Slavs of the Project's developers is determined by the fact that "Slavs, and among them Russians, Byelorussians, Ukrainians - are the most recalcitrant peoples in the world. They are such because of their mental and mental abilities, laid down by many generations of ancestors, as well as genes that are not amenable to any alteration. Slav - Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian - can be destroyed, but you can never conquer. That is why they are subject to liquidation, and at first - a sharp reduction in their numbers. "

To illustrate: during the years of "perestroika" counterrevolution, the population of Russia (the USSR) declined more than during the Great Patriotic War (27 million people). Demographic collapse for this period was also noted by President Vladimir Putin in his "Address to the People" on August 28, 2018.

In the Houston project it is stated that one of the methods for the destruction of the Slavs will be the organization of inter-state wars, the scourging of peoples among themselves. "The Ukrainian will think that he is fighting against Russia, struggling for his independence, he will think that he finally achieved freedom, while he completely falls into dependence on us. All this we will do under the pretext of fighting different sovereignties for their national ideals. And at the same time, we will not allow any of the parties to self-determine on the basis of national values and traditions. "

I think everyone, when reading this material, raises the question: Why, knowing already in the 80s about the plans of the US to destroy the USSR, the country's leadership and the ruling party of the CPSU, together with its Secretary-General, did nothing to resist the actions of the Americans in the collapse of the USSR? (General Secretary of the CPSU: L. Brezhnev 1964-1982, Yuri Andropov 1982-1984, 1985-1991 Mikhail Gorbachev.)

Concerning the current pension reform in Russia, the above suggests the conclusion that both the new pension system adopted (pension reform) and, as part of it, the proposal to adopt the law on euthanasia in the Russian Federation are part of the CIA projects to destroy the population of Russia (Harvard and Houston projects) that our faithful servants are now trying to enforce our homegrown liberals, generously paid by American grants through the so-called non-governmental organizations.

While the pro-Western liberals are engaged in the economy, which carried out pro-American restructuring in the USSR and are now in Russia, the liberals who nested in the government and headed it in the person of liberal Medvedev,

- while the Government takes care of replenishing from the state budget the accounts of oligarchs who have seized all our national property during the years of perestroika and usurers-bankers with a floating ruble, in other words, cares for replenishing accounts of those who robbed the people, cares for them, and not about the frail purse of our working citizens, often barely making ends meet, citizens - the true masters of all our natural resources,

- while the so-called. "Cultural elite" fools on the theatrical stage, in the pages of newspapers and magazines, in the visual arts, in cinematography, in numerous entertainment mass youth shows, decomposing our pseudomodern our youth,

- while a worker or an intellectual who wants to work and support his family can not find a job in their specialty,

- until everyone who is able to fight for the justice and happiness of his children will stand apart from our common struggle for socialism,

the issue of improving life in Russia for pensioners remains a matter not of the near future. Thanks to home-grown liberals, we lost the fight against the United States. And that's why the USA, now in the status of the victor, continues to assert its new world order with fire and sword. But in the context of the civilizational crisis, the growth of problems within the United States itself, the number of countries dissatisfied with US international policy, refusing to be dictate by the US, is increasing, and therefore beginning to distance themselves from the US, despite threats of sanctions. In particular, this applies to some EU countries.

Having a successful experience of socialist construction in the USSR and living under socialism (there is something to compare), many in the world, living in a "capitalist paradise", begin to realize that further adherence to the path of capitalism leads to the degradation and destruction of the human personality, to the collapse of civilization. The only way to preserve humanity is to abandon the capitalist system as a whole and move over to the transition to socialism. This is an objective course of history. History is created by the masses. And therefore I wish all the fighters for socialism good luck on this difficult, noble and honorable path.

Dean Reed - 80 years old

Russian propaganda is silent about such artists - patriots, friends of the Soviet Union, as Viktor Khara, Dean Reed, etc., because their songs are called to fight against capitalism. Their songs, their lives are a struggle for communist ideals.

On September 22, 1938, Dean Reed was born - an American singer, artist, friend of the Soviet Union. This year he would be 80 years old. Here are some stages of his life. In 1970, in Moscow, he participated in the session of the Soviet Peace Committee, dedicated to the centenary of the birth of V.I. Lenin (later this committee awarded him a medal). In August 1970, he helped Salvador Allende in his presidential campaign in Chile. In September 1970, Dean Reed in Chile, the US embassy washed from the American flag the symbolic mud and blood stained with American capitalism, including the Vietnam War. His admirer was Yasser Arafat, who invited him to Palestine and met him. Dean Reed participated in world festivals of youth and students: the 10th - in 1973 in Berlin (GDR), 11th - in 1978 in Cuba, 12th - 1985 in Moscow (USSR). In 1977, in Bulgaria, he starred in the feature film "El Santor" (singer), where he played the role of Victor Hara, his Chilean friend tortured by Pinochet's junta. In 1978, Dean Reed participated in the XVIII Congress of the Komsomol in Moscow, at which it was decided to create a Komsomol-youth railway construction project BAM. Dean Reed toured the BAM in 1979. There it should be well remembered. In the same place was filmed a documentary-musical film "I wish you happiness." In 1979, on October 29, he was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize for songs dedicated to anti-imperialist solidarity, peace and friendship of peoples.

Dean Reed was repeatedly arrested in the United States, Chile, Argentina, Italy for his anti-imperialist statements and songs. This did not break him, but, on the contrary, tempered him. Always on his defense rose the progressive forces of the world and he was released. In April 1986, he spoke in the American program "60 Minutes", where he criticized R. Reagan and defended the need for the Berlin Wall. For this he was then pursued. In his last years he lived in the GDR with his German wife, actress Renata Blume. June 13, 1986 in Berlin on Lake Zentener See, near his house Dean Reed was found drowned. Quite a strange death, still not really investigated. It was officially announced that this was an "accident", but the real reason for Dean Reed's death is Gorbachev's perestroika, with which the open smearing of communist idols and ideals began, not only in the USSR and the GDR, but also in other socialist countries. He was very popular in these countries, he was called "Red Elvis". He was a man - a legend of the times of the Cold War. The memory of him will remain in our hearts.

In conclusion, I would like to recall Dean Reed's statement: "No one is born a revolutionary, no one is born a Marxist. For a man who grew up in a capitalist country, the road to truth is long and thorny. The truth comes to us drop by drop, we gain knowledge, become wiser. When I came to the Soviet Union in the summer of 1975, I was a pacifist who was frightened at the words "Communist, Socialist". It was you who helped me to become a convinced Marxist, a revolutionary, a man."

In Voronezh, a monument to those killed in the Great Patriotic War was destroyed

On the territory of the Voronezh excavator plant, a memorial complex of the Great Patriotic War has been destroyed. The plant itself was killed earlier - in 2009. During the years of the war, it produced the legendary Katyushas, and now neither the enterprise itself nor the memory of the dead workers are needed by the Russian government. Decommunization in Russia continues ...

Previously, the enterprise was  named after the "Comintern"; this name was given in 1922. During the Great Patriotic War, the plant successfully mastered the production of the famous Katyusha rocket launchers, and many factory workers fought against the fascists in the ranks of the Red Army. After the War, in honor of the dead workers, a brick stela with the inscription "Who gave their lives for their Motherland - we remember!" was built on the territory of the enterprise.

In 2009, the plant was finally bankrupt and liquidated. On its territory is located the so-called. "Technopark", in other words, everything was leased. Part of the shops was demolished, and the two remaining unsold excavators were destroyed. So the factory, which worked hard to win, was destroyed in modern Russia.

On September 9, 2018, a video appeared on the Internet, which shows the beginning of the "dismantling" of the memorial complex. In particular, it was evident how an unknown man was trying to remove the metal numbers "1941" from the monument. A few days later, journalists entered the territory of the former factory. On the site of the memorial complex they found only ruins - broken brick and warped armature. Who and why gave the order to destroy the monument - remains unknown until now. According to the journalists, the Kominternovsky district administration and Voronezh city administration refused to comment on the situation.

Moreover, officials said that since this is a private area, the owner is free to do anything there.

In addition to the stele of memory of the dead workers, there was a sculpture of Lenin and a monument to the first Katyusha at the plant. All this was also destroyed.

The destruction of historical memory in Russia is not as noisy as in Ukraine. There, Soviet-era monuments are overthrown with cries, armed with construction cranes and anti-communist laws. Here, the monuments are secretly and quietly torn down. But the essence of what is happening in Russia and Ukraine is the same. The victory is celebrated by the followers of Bandera and Vlasov, Petlyura and Kolchak, the irreconcilable enemies of our country and our people.

Grateful memory of the people returns Stalin to the pedestal

On August 22, an initiative group of citizens, at the initiative of the AUCPB, again applied to the mayor's office of the city of Novosibirsk with a statement on the approval of the installation of a monument to J.V. Stalin on Red Avenue near the Officers' House (in the center), or on the square. Sibiryakov-guardsmen at the stele "Bayonets", or in Efremovskom square (near the plant "Tyazhstankogidropress"). The statement and draft projects will be considered by the City Hall's art council in the second half of September.

Recall that the bust of J.V. Stalin and the granite pedestal are already prepared. More money is needed to improve the site for the installation of the monument. Over two years of the campaign, 450,000 people's rubles have already been raised.

Below we publish a statement submitted by the initiative group to the mayor's office:

STATEMENT on the coordination of the location of the monument to J.V. Stalin on the Red Avenue near the Officers' House, or on the Sq. Sibiryakov-guardsmen at the stele "Bayonets", or in Efremovsky Square (near the plant "Tyazhstankohydropress")

We, the initiative group of citizens of the city of Novosibirsk consisting of: Denisyuk AV, Metzler OV, Dushkina LS, Tataru AG, Krasavin PV, Boger Yu.L., Minibaev E.A. ., Yushkov IV, Pronchenko IV, Laptev RV, Kopylov SI, Boyko S.V.  propose to install a monument to Generalissimo Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin on Krasny Prospekt near the Officers' House, or on Sq. Sibiryakov-guardsmen at the stele "Bayonets", or in Efremovsky Square (near the plant "Tyazhstankogidropress").

Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin (Dzhugashvili) is the greatest statesman and politician, the largest commander, pupil and continuer of the cause of great Lenin, the leader of the world's first multinational state of workers and peasants - the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the leader of the working class, working people, oppressed and deprived masses of the world . J.V. Stalin became in history as the largest politician of the twentieth century, as the creator of the first socialist state in history - the forerunner of the future communist formation.

As the largest proletarian revolutionary, J.V. Stalin became one of the main organizers of the struggle of the Russian proletariat against tsarism, the landlords and the bourgeoisie, the preparation and implementation of the socialist revolution in Russia. His role in the struggle against the White Guards and interventionists during the Civil War, in the industrialization of the USSR, in the collectivization of agriculture, in the cultural revolution, in the struggle for building socialism, for the independence of the Soviet country, and for the consolidation of peace throughout the world is great.

Under the leadership of J.V. Stalin, Russia  became a great industrial, nuclear and space superpower of the world, which was respected. The victory of socialism in the USSR under the leadership of J.V. Stalin became a torch of struggle in the eyes of the oppressed of all countries of the world.

The colossal role of Stalin is indisputable. Stalin as the leader of the Soviet people in the defeat of German fascism in the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War, in the formation after their termination of a powerful world socialist and democratic camp led by the USSR.

Nobody can erase from the memory of the people that the Soviet soldiers rose and went on the attack with the words "FOR THE MOTHERLAND, FOR STALIN!"

Creation by assignment J.V. Stalin and the test in the Soviet Union in August 1949 of an atomic bomb prevented the very possibility of unleashing World War III with the use of nuclear weapons by former allies in the anti-Hitler coalition. The creation of an atomic bomb in the USSR ensured the preservation of life itself on the planet Earth and the peaceful labor of people for half a century.

The activities of J.V. Stalin at the top post of the state was highly appreciated by the Soviet people. He was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor (1939), Hero of the Soviet Union (1945), Marshal of the Soviet Union (1943) and Generalissimo of the Soviet Union (1945). He was awarded three Orders of Lenin, the Order of Victory, the Red Banner, Suvorov 1st Class and medals.

It was during the years of the Stalin Five-Year Plans that Novosibirsk became the largest industrial, political, scientific and cultural center in the east of the country, the third largest megapolis of the country of the Soviets after Moscow and Leningrad.

On personal orders of J.V. Stalin in Novosibirsk and throughout Siberia during the war hundreds of defense and other enterprises were deployed. Stalin personally met with the Siberian guardsmen, celebrated the heroism and courage of the Sibiryak warriors. Stalin in his telegrams notes the high merits of the Siberian rear in ensuring the victory. The 150th Rifle Siberian Volunteer Division was named after Stalin.

Stalin was in Novosibirsk in March 1917 after the February Revolution, participated in a rally at the Main Station, returning from the Turukhansk exile. January 18, 1928 J.V. Stalin spoke at the meeting of Sibkraikoma in Novosibirsk on the issue of the country's exit from the acute grain procurement crisis organized by the kulaks with the aim of strangling the Soviet power with hunger.

Many streets, parks and houses of culture of the city of Novosibirsk were named after the Leader. Lenin Street was called Stalin Avenue, the House of Culture. October Revolution was called the House of Culture after Stalin, the Central Park of Culture and Recreation after Stalin.A monument to J.V. Stalin stood in the center of the city on the Red Avenue (on the site of the present Chapel), the monuments of J.V. Stalin was standing in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation and at the Monument of Glory near the cinema "Metallurg" and in many other places.

After the death of Stalin at the direction of Khrushchev, the monuments were illegally demolished, and the name and deeds of the Leader were slandered. We demand the restoration of historical justice. The construction of Stalin on a pedestal in the center of one of the largest megalopolis of the country will put an end to the blackout of the memory of the Leader and all our glorious heroic Soviet era.

Today, Stalin's authority among the people is the highest and most popular among the last decades and among other outstanding statesmen not only in Russia.

We propose to put a monument to J.V. Stalin on November 7 to the 101st anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution or on December 21 to the 139th anniversary of the birth of Stalin.

Considering all of the above, please coordinate the location of the monument to Generalissimo  Stalin in the center of the city of Novosibirsk on the Red Avenue near the Officers' House, or on Sq. Sibiryakov-guardsmen at the stele "Bayonets", or in Efremovsky Square (near the plant "Tyazhstankogidropress").

In Bulgaria, the memory of the victims of the fascist genocide was honored in Varna

On September 9, on the day of the Socialist Revolution in Bulgaria (1944), the representatives of the United International Anti-imperialist Anti-Fascist Front, the Bulgarian Workers' Party (Communists) and the Bulgarian Slavic movement laid flowers to the Pantheon of the Communists and anti-fascists who were killed by fascists (1923-1944). Over 100,000 people died in the fight against fascism for the freedom of the Bulgarian people. Only in World War II were 9,140 guerrillas (for the head of each fascists they paid 50,000 levs each), 10,930 of their relatives and those who concealed and supplied them were killed, 31,250 people were exiled to distant villages under the supervision of the fascist police, 2,399 houses were burnt. In total, the fascist government spent about 200 million leva to fight the Resistance, of which 63 million were given to traitors and 15 million to policemen. During this period, about 200 young children were killed. The sadism of the frenzied fascists were similar to Bandera.

At the end of the ceremony on September 9, gifts were handed to veterans-antifascists.

9 September - the day of the formation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

On September 9, the people of the DPRK solemnly celebrate the 70th anniversary of the formation of their socialist state. This date is the result of the victory in the more than 50-year struggle of the people against the Japanese colonialists, the result of the choice by the Korean people themselves of their way of building a socialist state with the economy at the level of the modern development of the productive forces of mankind.

The country was created by the Great Leader, Comrade Kim Il Sung, who laid the foundations of the socialist economy and its constant development. He created and brought up a revolutionary army, which became an active builder of the state, the protection of its interests and independence. He created a revolutionary party - the core of the state of the Juche and national character, built according to ideology and beliefs developed by Kim Il Sung and developed by Kim Jong Il.

The history of 70 years of modern DPRK is the history of the 70-year-long tense struggle of the socialist state for its independence in the face of the most bitter confrontation with the aggressive US policy aimed at destroying the DPRK, with constant threats of a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the DPRK, with suffocating diversified sanctions against the socialist state .

Each of the past 70 years was a year of unprecedented enthusiasm for the Korean people and their people's army, closely rallied around their revolutionary  Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and their leaders - the comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the continuer of their cause and policy of the First Secretary of the WPK comrade Kim Jong-un.

At the heart of the DPRK's policy is the care of the man of labor, his well-being and spiritual development. Today, the population of the DPRK, like nowhere else in the world, enjoys a free, widely available, highly qualified, high-quality health care system, organized using modern achievements of world medicine; free compulsory for all 12-year general and free higher education; free of charge for citizens in need of this, comfortable modern housing. This is especially true for young families who are forming. Housing is provided with everything necessary for a comfortable life - technology and electronics. The provision of free comfortable housing is carried out both in cities and in rural areas.

The DPRK is the only country in the world where there are no taxes. The entire tax system was abolished in the 1970s.

The country pays much attention to the development of sports, national culture, folk art. Koreans live, "not envying anyone", as they sang in their song. Overcoming difficulties in connection with the barbaric sanctions organized by the United States, the people of the DPRK love their Motherland and are ready to defend it with their own lives.

In self-defense, with the boundless effort of the country's forces, with the development of its scientists and engineers, the DPRK, with Kim Jong-il, created its nuclear weapons and launched an assault on outer space, successfully launching its artificial satellites. (August 31, 1998, the first DPRK launch vehicle "Paektusan-1" was launched, with the launch of the "Kwangmyongson-1" satellite into near-Earth orbit.) Under Kim Jong un (February 2016), an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) , capable of reaching any point in the US was launched.

Nuclear development in the DPRK is exclusively defensive in nature, it is a means of protecting the independence of its state.

The launching of the DPRK ICBM frightened the United States, which for the first time in history were reachable for deserved retribution for their banditry and bloody riots around the world, with the destruction of the leaders of the countries and their people. Previously, the US always ignored the proposals of the DPRK leaders for concluding a peace treaty between the US and the DPRK after the Fatherland Liberation War 1950-1953, which ended only with a truce, but now US President Trump himself offered talks to the leader of the DPRK, Comrade Kim Jong-un. These negotiations took place in Singapore on June 10-12, 2018. At this meeting, a joint agreement between the United States and the DPRK was adopted without a clear fixation of commitments from the US.

At the ASEAN summit on August 6, the chairman of the meeting of ASEAN regional forum ministers prematurely declared even the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula as already about the fact that has been realized.

Our Party earlier in the Central Committee's statement of June 15 this year,  expressed its fears about the sudden "peacefulness" of the United States. The White House messages in the very beginning of August, addressed to the leadership of the DPRK, confirmed the validity of our distrust of the American side. In the 10th of August, the White House clarified the uncertainty of the joint document signed by Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump. The US proposed in its messages to Pyongyang unconditionally to make unilateral disarmament of the DPRK. Specifically, the US State Department offered Pyongyang "to transfer 75% of its nuclear arsenal to the US or a third party" and no lifting of sanctions against the DPRK.

Naturally, Pyongyang rejected all these proposals of the US State Department, calling them "gangster in nature." The DPRK rightly believes that disarmament, or denuclearization, should begin with the lifting of anti-Korean sanctions and the signing of a peace treaty between the United States and the DPRK.

The AUCPB in its Statement of the Secretariat of the Central Committee on August 14 declared support for the permanent demands of Kim Jong-un.

On the glorious anniversary of the establishment of the DPRK, congratulating the people and their leader, Comrade Kim Jong-un, on a landmark date, the AUCPB wishes the Socialist state success in pursuing its uncompromising political course and in strengthening the DPRK's defensive strength for the prosperity of the Korean nation.

We wish our Korean friends the successful construction of a prosperous socialist state in spite of the sinister plans of world imperialism to destroy the DPRK.

Long live the 70th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK!

Long live the courageous people, who do not bend under American pressure!

In memory of Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko

In Donetsk, on August 31, 2018, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Zakharchenko Alexander Vladimirovich was assassinated by the agents of the pro-fascist Kiev regime. This vile murder pained in the hearts of all honest people and caused an outburst of indignation. Hundreds of thousands of residents of the Donetsk Peoples Republic, as well as citizens of the Russian Federation, Georgia and other regions came to lead the protagonist of the Donbas resistance in Donetsk.

Zakharchenko was a worthy leader, who headed the DPR in the most difficult days of the struggle to repel the armed aggression of the Kiev regime against the unruly Donbass. He was an active fighter for the unity of the former Soviet republics, primarily Russia and Ukraine, a courageous patriot of Donbass and Novorossia. Under his leadership, the people's militia of the Dontesk People's Republic carried out a number of successful operations to eliminate attacks by the regular units of the Armed Forces and gangs of fascist armed formations of the Kiev regime, which is the spiritual heir of the Hitlerite henchmen Bandera and Shukhevych.

As head of the Dontetsk People's Democratic Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko showed himself to be a wise statesman who, even in times of extreme wartime difficulties, managed to establish the life of peaceful citizens of the republic and restore the work of many enterprises and social institutions.

We are sure that, despite the vile murder of the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko and earlier - a number of leaders of the militia of Motorola, Givi, Mozgovoy and other heroes, carried out by the Kiev neo-Banderite regime, the people of Donbass will not be able to break. On the contrary, the more atrocities Kiev creates on the Donetsk land, the greater the hatred of the working people of the Donbas.

The death of Alexander Zakharchenko should prompt the leadership of the Russian Federation to finally give up its floating position - both ours and yours - to solve the problem of the political recognition of the Dniester and the Dontesk People's Republic and, being the main investor of Ukraine, to stop investing in the Kiev criminal pro-fascist regime, thereby stop sponsoring new contract killings on the territory of Novorossia.

The memory of the courageous hero of Donbas, the anti-fascist, patriot, statesman Aleksandr Vladimirovich Zakharchenko will always remain in the hearts of progressive people.

APPEAL

public associations that formed the Coordinating Council of the Left-Patriotic Forces of Belarus "UNITY"

on the accession of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic to the Union State of Russia and Belarus

Recently, the situation in the Donbass has become more and more heated. The Kiev government, which came to power in February 2014 as a result of a coup with the support of Western countries, primarily the United States, is not and does not intend to implement the Minsk Agreements on the Donbas: the ceasefire is not respected, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are opening fire on the People's Republic of Donetsk (DPR), the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), from which the civilian population suffers most.

The actions of the Supreme Armed Forces are war crimes that surpass in their villainous genocide and barbarity against the citizens of Europe, carried out by the fascists during the World War II (the Nazis of the city who considered theirs not bombed). Moreover, taking advantage of the respite received as a result of the conclusion of the Minsk agreements on the Donbass, the Kiev regime is re-equipping its armed forces (including through the supply of lethal weapons from the US), openly declaring Russia an aggressor country, pulling tank columns to the line of separation of the APU and the militia of the DPR-LPR, i.e. is preparing for an aggressive war.

The aggravation of the situation in the Donbas reached its extreme limit after the vile murder of the Head of the People's Democratic Republic of Ukraine Alexander Zakharchenko by Kiev special services. This murder once again showed that, firstly, the Kiev neo-Bandits, dependent on Western puppeteers, are not going to implement the Minsk agreements, and secondly, they do not consider the population of the DPR and LPR as their own people. They are preparing for the most brutal "sweep" of the territory of the republics in the event of their capture. Thus, we can conclude: while the power in Kiev is in the hands of a pro-fascist government, it will not leave the rebellious republics in peace.

Therefore, we appeal to you, Vladimir Vladimirovich and Alexander Grigorievich, with the appeal:

1.Based on the norms of international law, ensure the recognition of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic, whose population on indisputably legitimate referendums on May 11, 2014, overwhelmingly voted (89.07% in the People's  Republic of Donbass and 90.53% in the People's Republic Lugansk).

As is known, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights of December 16, 1966 (in both pacts - Article 1) stipulate: "All peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of this right, they freely establish their political status and freely provide their economic, social and cultural development ... ". And this right was realized by the population of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.

    2. In view of the historical gravitation of the Donbas people towards Russia and the appeal of the leaders of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic to the Russian leadership with a request to include the Donetsk republics in the Russian Federation, initiate the process of joining the Union State of Russia and Belarus by the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic.

This process should become a catalyst for further integration of the former Soviet republics, which will contribute to their economic development and peaceful coexistence.

Historical experience has repeatedly confirmed: the prosperity of our peoples, first of all, fraternal East Slavic - in their unity.

Stalin's Address to the People

September 2, 1945

Comrades! Fellow countrymen and countrywomen!

Today, September 2, political and military representatives of Japan signed an act of unconditional surrender. Utterly defeated on sea and land, and completely surrounded by the armed forces of the United Nations, Japan has admitted defeat and has laid down her arms.

Two hotbeds of world fascism and world aggression had been formed on the eve of the present World War: Germany in the West and Japan in the East. It was they who unleashed the Second World War. It was they who brought mankind and civilization to the brink of doom. The hotbed of world aggression in the West was destroyed four months ago and, as a result, Uermany was forced to capitulate. Four months later the hotbed of aggression in the East was destroyed and as a res1', Japan, Germany's principal ally, was also compelled to sign an act of capitulation.

This signifies the end of the Second World War.

Now we can say that the conditions necessary for peace all over the world have been gained.

It must be observed that the Japanese aggressors inflicted damage not only on our Allies - China, the U.S.A. and Great Britain. They also inflicted extremely grave damage on our country. That is why we have a seperate account to settle with Japan.

Japan commenced her aggression against our country as far back as 1904,during the Russo -Japanese War. As we know, in February 1904, when negotiations between Japan and Russia were still proceeding, Japan, taking advantage of the weakness of the tsarist government, suddenly and perfidiously, without declaring war, fell upon our country and attacked the Russian fleet in the region of Port Arthur with the object of putting a number of Russian warships out of action and thereby creating an advantageous position for her fleet. She did, indeed, put out of action three Russian first-class warships. It is characteristic that 37 years later Japan played exactly the same perfidious trick against the United States when, in 1941, she attacked the United States naval base in Pearl Harbour and put a number of American battleships out of action. As we know, in the war against Japan, Russia was defeated. Japan took advantage of the defeat of tsarist Russia to seize from Russia the southern part of Sakhalin and establish herself on the Kuril Islands, thereby putting the lock on all our country's outlets to the ocean in the East, which meant also all outlets to the ports of Sovfet Kamchatka and Soviet Chukotka. It was obvious that Japan was aiming to deprive Russia of the whole of her Far East.

But this does not exhaust the list of Japan's aggressive operations against our country. In 1918, after the Soviet system was established in our country, Japan, taking advantage of the hostility then displayed towards the Land of the Soviets by Great Britain, France and the United States, and leaning upon them, again attacked our country, occupied the Far East and for four years tormented our people and looted the Soviet Far East.

Nor is this all. In 1938 Japan attacked our country again, in the region of Lake Hasan, near Vladivostok, with the object of surrounding Vladivostok; and in the following year Japan repeated her attack in another place, in the region of the Mongolian People's Republic, near Khalkin-gol, with the object of breaking into Soviet territory, severing our Siberian Railway and cutting off the Far East from Russia.

True, Japan's attacks in the regions of Hasan and Khalkin-gol were liquidated by the Soviet troops, to the extreme humiliation of the Japanese. Japanese military intervention in 1918-1922 was liquidated with equal success and Japanese invaders were expelled from our Far Eastern regions. But the defeat of the Russian troops in 1904 during the Russo-Japanese War left bitter memories in the minds of our people. It lay like a black stain on our country. Our people believed in and waited for the day when Japan would be defeated and the stain would be wiped out. We of the older generation waited for this day for forty years, and now this day has arrived. Today Japan admitted defeat and signed an act of unconditional surrender.

This means that the southern part of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands revert to the Soviet Union and henceforth will serve not as a barrier between the Soviet Union and the ocean and as a base for Japanese attack upon our Far East but as a direct means of communication between the Soviet Union and the ocean and a base for the defence of our country against Japanese aggression.

Our Soviet people spared neither strength nor labour for the sake of victory. We experienced extremely hard years. But now everyone of us can say: We have won. Henceforth we can regard our country as being free from the menace of German invasion in the West and of Japanese invasion in the East. The long awaited peace for the peoples of all the world has come.

I congratulate you, my dear fellow countrymen and country-women, on this great victory, on the successful termination of the war, and on- the ushering in of peace all over the world!

Glory to the armed forces of the Soviet Union, the United States of America, China and Great Britain which achieved victory over Japan!

Glory to our Far Eastern troops and our Pacific Fleet, which upheld the honour and dignity of our country!

Glory to our great people, the victorious people!

Eternal glory to the heroes who fell fighting for the honour and victory of our country! May our country flourish and prosper!

Speech by Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, at the central act to mark the 65th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes garrisons, at Ciudad Escolar 26 de Julio, Santiago de Cuba, July 26, 2018, Year 60 of the Revolution.

(Council of State transcript / GI translation)

Santiago women and men;

Compatriots:

As I anticipated in December of last year, today I will offer the central remarks of the national act to mark the 65th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons.

None of us who had the privilege of participating in these actions, under the command of Fidel, could have dreamed then that we would be alive today, in a free, independent, sovereign country, with a socialist Revolution in power and a united people, ready to defend the work undertaken, the fruit of the sacrifice and bloodshed of various generations of Cubans.

We celebrate this 65th anniversary in Santiago de Cuba not only due to its history, but also in recognition of the work undertaken in the province to benefit the people.

Under the leadership of compañero Lázaro Expósito Cantro, first secretary of the Party Provincial Committee (applause), in close liaison with the government headed by Council of State Vice President Beatriz Johnson Urrutia (applause), comprehensive efforts have been deployed on several fronts of the economy, which have led to an increased supply of quality and affordable goods and services to the population.

Sustained progress is being made in the housing program with the use of different technologies and initiatives in the use of local construction materials; prioritized investments of national importance are advancing at a good pace, such as the multipurpose port terminal and San Luis warehouses.

Work is also ongoing on the creation of conditions to increase exports of fruit, rum, lobster, and aquaculture products.

Commercial activity is being reordered through local development projects, which grant greater autonomy to municipalities in the management and satisfaction of the population’s demands, taking advantage of their own resources, which translates into greater contributions to the budget and ensures sustaining what has been achieved and continuing to invest in development.

The enthusiasm of the people of Santiago and the entire province is palpable; however, much remains to be done in the production and services sphere to efficiently generate wealth and continue to raise the quality of life of the people, and make a reality the goal of an increasingly beautiful, clean, orderly and disciplined city of Santiago de Cuba, worthy of guarding the remains of many of the greatest children of the Cuban nation, among whom are our national hero, the Father and Mother of the Homeland, and the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution. (Applause)

In the coming months, we will commemorate important historic events, among them, the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the struggles for the homeland’s independence, on October 10, 1868, and the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, January 1, 1959, an occasion on which the Mambis did enter Santiago victorious, to definitively remain alongside the people.

Just four days ago, the National Assembly approved the draft Constitution of the Republic, which will be the subject of a broad popular consultation in the coming months and, with the opinions and proposals that emerge from that democratic process, will be analyzed again in Parliament to draft the final text that will be submitted to a referendum, through the direct and secret vote of each citizen, for its approval and subsequent proclamation.

The Constitution of the Republic is the fundamental law on which the state is based, and thus is the most important legal and political document of any country, since it defines the foundations of the nation, the structure of powers and their scope, as well as guaranteeing the rights and duties of citizens.

The current Constitution, approved 42 years ago in a national and international scenario that was very different from the current one, needs to be reformed, with the purpose of including the socioeconomic transformations implemented in accordance with the agreements adopted in the Sixth and Seventh Congresses of the Communist Party of Cuba.

A transcendental political and democratic exercise will begin, the success of which will depend, in the first place, on the active and committed participation of Cubans, under the leadership of the Communist Party and with the support of the Young Communist League and mass organizations, in which each citizen must understand the need for and scope of the changes that we must introduce in the Constitution, in order to guarantee the irrevocable nature of socialism and the continuity of the Revolution.

We do not ignore the complexities that characterize the current internal and external scenario.

As for the economy, as President Miguel Díaz-Canel stated when speaking at the close of the recent period of sessions of the National Assembly, a tense situation continues with regard to external finances, as a consequence of the impact on expected income from exports of sugar and tourism, caused by a prolonged drought, the devastating Hurricane Irma and unseasonal heavy rainfall, first, and then Subtropical Storm Alberto.

Added to this was the strengthening of the U.S. blockade and its extraterritorial effects that impacted trade and financial transactions.

Despite these adverse factors, as previously reported, a slight growth of the economy was achieved in the first semester, which is an encouraging result; however, it is necessary to ensure exports and reduce all non-essential expenses to allocate available funds to products and services that generate hard currency earnings.

Always keep in mind that the quickest and easiest source of resources is saving, and therefore we must ensure that this stops being a mere slogan to become a standard of conduct for cadres and workers at all levels.

Turning to the situation that is developing in our continent, I must point out that at the beginning of this century, as part of the resistance and struggle of the peoples against the terrible effects of neoliberal models, several progressive and leftist forces came to power that encouraged Latin American and Caribbean unity and integration. In this context, the imperialist project of the Free Trade Area of the Americas, known as the FTAA, was defeated and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA) emerged.

In 15 years, 60 million people were lifted from poverty and more than three million were taught to read and write, as illiteracy was eliminated in Venezuela, Bolivia, and Nicaragua. More than 20,000 Latin American and Caribbean doctors also graduated from the Latin American School of Medicine. Sight was restored to 2,900,000 foreign patients through Operation Miracle, as well as over a million Cubans. With Venezuela’s generous contribution Petrocaribe emerged.

The new progressive governments broke with decades of limited sovereignty and subordination to imperialist power, and created favorable conditions to advance regional integration, on establishing organizations without the aegis of the United States, such as the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), where governments of different political tendencies came together under the principle of “unity within diversity”; and Mercosur was revived.

The successful path of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the participation of all its member states in CELAC, and the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), as well as the membership of some in ALBA, contributed to the advance of this regional unity.

Heads of state and government of Latin America and the Caribbean signed in Havana, in January 2014, the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, which committed them to fully respect the inalienable right of every state to choose its political, economic, social and cultural system, not to intervene in the internal affairs of any state, and to observe the principles of national sovereignty, equality of rights and self-determination of the peoples, as well as the peaceful solution of differences, while it proscribed the threat and use of force.

This situation was not to the liking of Washington power circles, which implemented unconventional warfare methods to prevent the continuity or hinder the return of progressive governments, orchestrated coups, first a military coup to overthrow President Zelaya in Honduras, and then parliamentary/judicial coups against Lugo in Paraguay and Dilma Rousseff in Brazil. They deployed the monopoly control of the media in the interest of promoting rigged and politically motivated judicial processes, as well as misrepresentation and smear campaigns against figures and organizations of the left.

The right also managed to recover political power in some countries through electoral triumphs, some of them fraudulent and others on the basis of political and technological manipulation, the falsification of economic figures and intimidation campaigns with the support of the hegemonic media.

As was to be expected, they didn’t hesitate to dismantle the social policies of broad popular benefit; to use the judicial branch, under the pretext of confronting corruption, for the criminalization of left forces and the imprisonment of progressive leaders.

A few months ago, the United States government declared, without the slightest restraint, the full validity of the Monroe Doctrine, which is summarized in the phrase “America for the Americans” – naturally, those of the North – which reserves for Latin American and Caribbean nations a status of dependency and submission to imperialist interests. This is demonstrated by its aggressive and interventionist actions, the deployment of military forces and the constant search for new bases in the region.

One of its intentions is to reverse the gains made in integration and the exercise of sovereignty over natural resources to impose its racist, supremacist agenda against the peoples, through a neoliberal offensive aimed at destroying a decade of development and widening the gaps in this, the most unequal region on the planet.

On the other hand, the United States, with the complicity of certain governments, has attempted to reinvigorate the OAS, turning it into the setting for the onslaught against Venezuela. When, due to the dignified attitude of a large group of nations, they did not achieve their aims, they formed officious groupings of countries, to arrange unilateral coercive measures and other interventionist actions, undermine regional unity, contain CELAC, and paralyze UNASUR.

These events demonstrate once again that the path is never to neglect the unity of revolutionaries and to always maintain the struggle, keeping in mind that our adversaries never give up in the effort to restore models of exclusion and exploitation, and that when the supposed values and rules of the sacrosanct representative democracy do not serve them to reach power, they do not hesitate to resort to coup d’états, violence, or even war.

The recently concluded 24th Meeting of the São Paulo Forum in Havana, with the attendance of representatives from all continents, was an essential space for political coordination faced with the need to redirect the struggles of leftist political forces and social movements. It’s Final Declaration “Our America ready to fight” is a truly united program of action in the face of the dangers to peace and the threats and opportunities for the political forces of the left and popular and social movements in the region.

I take this opportunity to reiterate our solidarity with the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution, led by President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
To Nicaragua, to the Sandinista National Liberation Front and to President Daniel Ortega, we express the unwavering solidarity of our people, Party and government.

We demand the release of compañero Lula da Silva and his right to be the presidential candidate of the Workers’ Party (applause), as constantly demanded by thousands of Brazilians and numerous organizations around the world.

If tomorrow elections were held in Brazil, there is no doubt that Lula would win the elections in the first round. (Applause) That’s why he is in prison.

We congratulate the beloved Mexican people and President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador for this historic result.

I will now refer to relations with the United States, a country with which formal diplomatic ties are maintained, official communication channels, several bilateral agreements, and mutually beneficial cooperation within a limited group of areas.

A few days after the announcement of the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, on December 17, 2014, we noted from our Parliament, a few days later, that there were profound differences between the governments of Cuba and the United States regarding the exercise of national sovereignty and conceptions of democracy, political models, and international relations. However, we reiterated our readiness for respectful and reciprocal dialogue on disagreements, and warned that Cuba should not be expected to renounce the ideas for which it had fought for over a century, in order to improve relations with the United States.

Since August last year, under the pretext of health complaints of its diplomats, in what some call sonic attacks, that is, noises that affect diplomats — they now also accuse China of the same — whose origin no one has been able to explain or prove, although they periodically repeat it, bilateral ties have deteriorated and 17 officials of our embassy in Washington were unjustly expelled and the majority of the staff of the diplomatic headquarters in Havana withdrawn, with the consequent paralysis of a large part of the visa processing procedures, to the detriment of travel to the United States by Cuban citizens.

Likewise, the extraterritorial application of the U.S. blockade has intensified, particularly the persecution of our financial transactions.

The occasion is propitious to recall the content of a Memorandum by a deputy assistant secretary of state for Inter-American Affairs — what would be here a deputy minister of foreign affairs to attend to issues of the Latin American region — named Lester Mallory, dated April 6, 1960, more than 58 years ago now, but it is an event that we Cubans must never forget, and for that reason I want to recall and quote verbatim some paragraphs or phrases:

“The majority of Cubans support Castro (...) There is no effective political opposition (…) The only foreseeable means of alienating internal support is through disenchantment and disaffection based on economic dissatisfaction and hardship (…) every possible means should be undertaken promptly to weaken the economic life of Cuba (…) denying money and supplies to Cuba, to decrease monetary and real wages, to bring about hunger, desperation and overthrow of government.” There were more recommendations to his central government.

I have never read anything more cynical than these words. This was, to remind you, on April 6, 1960, that is, one year and nine days before the bombings of April 15, 1961, a prelude to the Playa Girón (Bay of Pigs) invasion.

Thus emerged in 1959, the same year of the triumph, the long history of attacks against our country, which today continue to be renewed.

At the same time, the public pronouncements of the main United States government officials regarding Cuba at this time are characterized by disrespect, aggressiveness, interventionism, and the crude manipulation of historical truth. Tens of millions of dollars are allocated each year, approved in its budgets, to promote subversion in an effort to provoke political changes contrary to the constitutional order of our country.

This past June, a U.S. diplomatic official, speaking at a meeting of the Organization of American States, the discredited OAS, said: “The countries of the Americas have to accept that Cuba is the mother of all evils in terms of weakening democracy on the continent and human rights violations.” A few days ago, the aforementioned individual repeated the same aggressive approach toward our country.

These positions also remind us of the failed “Commission for Assistance to a Free Cuba,” created by the then President George W. Bush who, drunk on the apparent victory in the second Iraq war, even went so far as to appoint a U.S. coordinator who would manage Cuba after being occupied, just as was the practice in the good old days of the Yankee gunboats across Latin America.

It is no coincidence that it is reiterated in the draft of our Constitution that the defense of the socialist homeland is the greatest honor and supreme duty of every Cuban, and incorporated is that the strategic conception of the defense of the nation is upheld by the doctrine of the war of the entire people.

We Cubans are a peaceful and friendly people; we do not threaten anyone, many times we have said that for us to avoid a war is tantamount to winning it, but to that end we must shed rivers of sweat preparing ourselves to fight to victory if anyone tries to take over Cuba.

Once again, an adverse situation has developed and again the euphoria resurfaces among our enemies and the rush to realize the dreams of destroying the example of Cuba. It will not be the first time, nor the last, that the Cuban Revolution will have to face challenges and threats. We have run all risks and resisted undefeated for 60 years. (Applause)

For us, just as for Venezuela and Nicaragua, it is very clear that the siege is tightening and our people must be alert and ready to respond to each challenge with unity, firmness, optimism, and unwavering confidence in victory.

Since July 26, 1953, Cuban revolutionaries have forged themselves in an incessant battle and we have come this far by rising above setbacks and overcoming attacks of all kinds.

How couldn’t we recall the young people that a day like today were savagely tortured and killed after the failure of the action to lay siege to heaven, so as not to let the Apostle die in the year of his centenary.

In this same spot, 45 years ago, Fidel stated: “Moncada taught us to turn setbacks into victories. It was not the only bitter test of adversity, but nothing could contain the victorious struggle of our people. Trenches of ideas were more powerful than trenches of stones. It showed us the value of a doctrine, the strength of ideas, and left us the permanent lesson of perseverance and tenacity in just aims.”

And the Comandante en Jefe added: “Our heroic dead did not fall in vain. They demonstrated the duty to press onward, they fuelled the inextinguishable spirit of our souls, they accompanied us in prisons and in exile, they fought together with us in the war. We see them reborn in the new generations…” (Applause)

In the same year of 1959, a few months after the triumph of the First of January, we had to confront armed gangs organized and financed by the CIA, sabotages, hundreds of plans of attempts against the main leaders, especially against the leader of the Revolution, the economic, commercial, financial blockade, media campaigns, the Playa Girón (Bay of Pigs) invasion, the October or missile crisis, the introduction of pests and diseases, multiple terrorist acts organized and financed by the United States government, resulting in thousands of fatalities and children of the homeland mutilated or incapacitated.

In the decade of the nineties, after the disappearance of the Soviet Union and the socialist camp and faced with the implacable and opportunist onslaught of imperialism, enthusiastic about the longed-for collapse of the Revolution, we Cubans, amid enormous material scarcities, put to the test our unwavering capacity for resistance and the will to defend sovereignty, independence, and socialism.

That was possible thanks to the unequalled people we have and the unity forged by Fidel from the first years of struggle.

Today, 65 years after Moncada, with our independence already conquered and the permanent presence of Fidel among us, we can affirm that no matter how difficult the circumstances, no matter how great the challenges, our people will forever defend their Socialist Revolution. History has shown that we could, we can, and it will always be possible! (Applause)

Already 65 years have passed since Moncada, a large majority of the population was born after these events of which we are speaking. As you know, the Revolution triumphed five years, five months and five days after Moncada, therefore, there are five months and five days left to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the triumph of our Revolution (applause), and to celebrate or commemorate such an important date, that day we will meet again here in Santiago. (Applause)

Thank you very much.

Look at what a beautiful sunrise, with the mountains of the Sierra Maestra watching over us, it continues here to the front, goes on northeast to the Gran Piedra and concludes in the limits of the province of Guantánamo. And as the geographers establish, Santiago de Cuba is a completely mountainous city, surrounded by the Sierra Maestra, that is a pride of which we never speak.

Until next time! (Ovation)

Pensions - it's the cause of the youth!

"I DO NOT WANT TO DIE AT WORK"

I will not talk for long on this subject. The increase in the retirement age was made to the State Duma on June 16, 2018 by the decree of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev. This is almost the day after the opening of the World Cup in our country. Coincidence? No, a very thoughtful and cunning strategy. In the mass of people will be distracted from such a serious issue as the retirement age - after all, it is necessary to see football, cheer, drink something with a degree. "A drunk does not understand a sober man." So it turns out that people at this time will be as much as possible abstracted from this issue. And the government was safe: after all not the population was drinking! And so the president signed a decree banning any rallies during the championship. Once again I repeat: a very thoughtful and cunning strategy.

The question of retirement age is now, in August, and so everyone is on hearing. He reacted to a huge number of people throughout Russia. We can not say that there are a lot of them, but people take to the streets and oppose this bill much more often than, for example, during rallies "for fair elections".

The essence of this bill is the genocide. Here I will not even argue with such loud words. Many men do not live until 65. We will open the topic. According to the statistics of the FSSS (Federal Service of State Statistics), we have for 2017:

1 689 884 people were born (203 372 people less than in 2016);

The number of deaths amounted to 1,824,340 people (by 63,573 people less than in 2016);

Population decline by 134 456 people (in 2016 the increase of 5 343 people).

For other years, statistics say that we finally have a population growth, and just the birth rate over mortality began to increase since 2014. But let's not forget that in 2014 part of the Russian Federation became the Crimea, and, therefore, the population of the Crimea also began to be considered. Hence the increase. In fact, we have for the most part an endangered country. It's hard for our capitalists to raise the country from their knees, oh, how difficult it is. They could not increase the birth rate (there is a country to compare) - well, okay, at least provide normal old age to people and raise the standard of living. But it does not converge.

According to FSSS statistics, per capita monetary income of the population for 2017 is: 31477.4 rubles. Wherein:

the subsistence minimum for us per capita is 10 329 rubles,

for the able-bodied population - 11,163 rubles,

pensioners - 8506 rubles,

children - 10 160 rubles.

And people who live below the subsistence minimum in the country - 13.6% (19.3 million people). Let's speak frankly. To really live in our country, build a family, do not deny yourself a rest and holiday, we need to receive a month more than 100 000 rubles. The labor force of the workers in the enterprises on average is worth it.

According to FSSS statistics for 2017, 7.6% of the population in our country have monthly more than 70 000 rubles of income. Of course, we have even less billionaires and millionaires, but it's they who own 99% of the wealth and resources of our country. I will not forget to write that deputies from United Russia who almost unanimously adopted the antipopular bill in the first reading have a wage bill of 450,000 rubles each month. It, certainly, not earnings. This is profit! They do not plow in a mine or in a factory, they do not chop coal in their sweat and do not twist nuts for 30-60 thousand a month. They themselves should raise the retirement age, but not by 5-8, but by 15-18 years! And anyway, why should a pension with such a salary, and when you work with talk? They adopt such laws, based only on their position and their interests. No matter what they say at the elections, people's wisdom has long said everything. "The well-fed does not understand the hungry."

The power failed and social security of the population. But every year that there are  no sanctions - then new benefits for the oligarchs. The government cares about them. The increase in the retirement age is not aimed at strengthening the economy or stimulating economic factors, but at destroying the population of our country, widening the gap between the rich and the poor, and shaking the political and economic integrity of the country. I wrote this to the fact that later the bourgeois government would not blame anyone for wanting to "rock the boat", but would look in the mirror.

In general, we must stop believing the words of officials. They do not consider that they should increase the standard of living, raise the birth rate, provide for old age. They came to power so that they had privileges and protection, so that they had all the laws on their side to go unpunished in any "scenario." They came to power when we were children, and some of us were not even in the world. They represent the interests of another class, some of them are representatives of this class. Class of large capitalists. We need them to be the backbone of their power. Despite the fact that officials and deputies can help some people in some way, in general our people are interesting to them only as an electorate, as a crowd, as a herd. This is exactly what the authorities want to turn us into.

In general, an example for those who will read my article and I would like to turn today not to the older generation, not to the middle-aged, namely to young guys and girls from 18 to 30 years.

Guys, we are very stuck with you, and everyone suffers from this. We are like a knight at the crossroads. On the one hand, the real world, the living world. On the other hand - the virtual world, we are so often and so boldly running away to, we are looking in  there for rest, peace, there are no horrors of real life, and virtual horrors seem insignificant. In virtual worlds we are heroes ... But social networks, games on the Internet, anime, movies and drunken orgies are only the tip of the iceberg called "The Being of Youth in Our Country". Young guys and girls, whose parents can more or less afford to arrange a family life, such withdrawal from reality often seems harmless to others. But those who are deprived of parental care, this is much worse: banditry, hooliganism, violence, drunkenness and many, many defects of capitalist society in all its glory.

I urge everyone who is young to think about how they live. The youth will end, and then on the heels you will come the cruel reality of the world, which will not be nice and kind to you. You will take a hard life to the fullest. And the last thing that could console you, would give you a chance for a happy old age - you already take it away, it's a pension. Yes, now it is an increase in the retirement age, but in the near future, pensions can generally be abolished. If we do not fight for our rights. In youth, we must fight for the right to a decent old age! This is the essence, the cornerstone of the problems of today's youth. To change the world for the better - you need to do it better, fight for it, work hard, and without difficulty you will not catch a fish from the pond.

Without struggle it is impossible to live with dignity and happiness. Our ancestors proved this to the whole world in 1917. It is they who have changed the whole world for the better. Maybe you are not interested in the history of our country, you do not know about 1917, about the USSR and about those who are bourgeois. You'll find out. Learn not from us, but from the realities of life, which you will sooner or later be affected. But it's better early, because while you are young, while you have the power of youth, you can do much! And every minute leaves, but as N. Ostrovsky said: "The most precious thing for a person is life. It is given to him once, and it must be lived so that it would not be painfully painful for aimlessly lived years, so as not to shame the petty and petty past that, dying, I could say: all life and all the forces were given to the most important in the world - the struggle for the liberation of mankind." You have examples of real heroes, not online, who have lived and fought for your future, thanks to which you weave such a slavish existence. One great thinker and figure in 1907 wrote:

"A slave who is conscious of his slavish position and who is fighting against it is a revolutionary. The slave, unaware of his slavery and vegetating in the silent, unconscious and wordless slavish life, is simply a slave. A slave whose mouths are drooling, when he smugly describes the delights of slavish life and admires a kind and good master, is a slave, a boor. " (V.I. Lenin, Complete Works, vol. 16, p. 40).

What we now have is not life at all, it's a slavish existence! So throw off the chains from yourself, and stand up for the struggle for your and our future! Become those slaves who are fighting against their slavish existence! It is YOU - the future, YOU - to build and live, work and fight, only by STRUGGLE - you can achieve the result. We are Bolsheviks, young Bolsheviks, the same as you, your age. And we are already fighting, as we can. And we give you a hand. We can and therefore should help each other. You just need to make a decision, take the first step. Any way is complicated and not simple. But the best way is through the thorns to the stars, than from the stars to decay and the grave!

Be worthy of your ancestors, fight for the bright future of your country, the working people and all of humanity!
