Workers struggle june 2019

In the largest district center located in the north of Udmurtia, a rally was held. The main slogan of the action is “Glazov - for decent medicine!”.

The protesters opposed the optimization of health care and violations of the labor rights of medical workers. The main reason for the protest rally is the closure of a branch of one of the medical institutions of the city.

People came to the rally with posters on which it was written: "Optimization of medicine - elimination of the population!", "Glazov without doctors - a sick city!", "Nursing home surcharges for harm!" A tired medic is an enemy of the patient! ”,“ If we demand - we achieve, if we are silent, we are crushed! ”.

The outcome of the action was a resolution that was sent to the legislative and executive authorities of the republic.

Picket in Penza

On June 26, ambulance workers gathered in the Dzerzhinsky Square for a protest rally, and many drivers did not take up their duties.

People came to the picket with various posters, one of which read: “Ambulance, get up from your knees!”. Doctors demanded an increase in earnings and set the condition set forth in the resolution: “If at a planned working meeting with representatives of the Penza region on June 28, we are not presented with a specific officially certified plan (roadmap) of salary increases up to 100 percent of the regional average, Italian the strike will resume. ”

The action of solidarity in Moscow

French Yellow Vests keep on fighting

On June 22, more than 26 thousand workers, employees, and the unemployed took to the streets of the cities.

Demonstrations took place in Paris and in many other large cities of the country.

It was already the 31st Saturday protest action of the Yellow Vests.

Their slogans are 90 percent consistent with the demands put forward by trade unionists. Therefore, they are increasingly going to the protests along with the "yellow vests", and those, in turn, support the trade union demonstrations.

Mass demonstration of miners in the capital of Poland

On June 24, a miners' march was organized in Warsaw. At least 1 thousand workers took part in it. A large-scale protest was held near the walls of the headquarters of the ruling party.

The miners spoke out for the resignation of Poland's Energy Minister Tkheuzhevsky. The miners also protested against the authorities' lack of a plan to improve the coal industry.

In Italy, a demonstration in the protection of employment

On June 23, over 25 thousand workers, employees, representatives of the intelligentsia, and the unemployed gathered a joint action of the largest trade unions. The demonstration took place in the south of the country, in the town of Reggio di Calabria.

The protest was held against the economic policies of the current Italian government, leading to job cuts. The demonstrators also spoke in favor of expanding industry in the southern regions. As emphasized in the appeal of trade unions, the development of industries in the south of the state plays a central role in solving the employment problem as “the means to overcome the deep social, economic and territorial inequality that exists in Italy”.
