In Belgorod region, local residents erected a monument to I.V. Stalin, and officials dismantled it
In the city of Valuyki, Belgorod region, local residents made and installed a bust of I.V. To Stalin.
“To the great statesman of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Generalissimo Stalin Joseph Vissarionovich,” read the text on the tablet.
The monument was erected on June 20, people began to bring flowers. But already on June 21, the initiator of the installation of the bust, Boris Tashev, was forced to write an explanatory note to the police, and the city administration dismantled the monument.
The leader of the administration of the Valuy city district, a member of the United Russia party, A. Dybov, said that people can’t erect monuments without agreement with officials.
In response, Boris Tashev reminded the official that he himself violated the laws in force, since the residents of the apartment building themselves decide how to use their yard territory.
