In Bulgaria, the memory of the victims of the fascist genocide was honored in Varna

On September 9, on the day of the Socialist Revolution in Bulgaria (1944), the representatives of the United International Anti-imperialist Anti-Fascist Front, the Bulgarian Workers' Party (Communists) and the Bulgarian Slavic movement laid flowers to the Pantheon of the Communists and anti-fascists who were killed by fascists (1923-1944). Over 100,000 people died in the fight against fascism for the freedom of the Bulgarian people. Only in World War II were 9,140 guerrillas (for the head of each fascists they paid 50,000 levs each), 10,930 of their relatives and those who concealed and supplied them were killed, 31,250 people were exiled to distant villages under the supervision of the fascist police, 2,399 houses were burnt. In total, the fascist government spent about 200 million leva to fight the Resistance, of which 63 million were given to traitors and 15 million to policemen. During this period, about 200 young children were killed. The sadism of the frenzied fascists were similar to Bandera.

At the end of the ceremony on September 9, gifts were handed to veterans-antifascists.
