ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial Meeting Welcomes the Panmunjom Declaration and the Joint Statement of the DPRK and the United States

Pyongyang, August 6. On August 6, the statement of the chairman of the meeting of ASEAN regional forum ministers was published.

The statement highlighted that the ministers welcomed the inter-Korean summits that took place on April 27 and May 26 and the Singapore summit between the DPRK and the US on June 12.

It emphasizes that they welcomed the Pangmunjom Declaration, adopted by the distinguished senior leader, Comrade Kim Jong-Un, and South Korean President Moon Zhe In, a joint statement that was adopted between Comrade Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump.

In the statement, the ministers demanded that all interested states continue to make efforts for the implementation of permanent peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, where denuclearization is completed, including the full and immediate implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration and the Joint Statement.
