On June 28, Kuibyshev fighters and comrades-in-arms of the VMGB and AUCPB (N. Andreeva) took part in the all-Russia protest against the increase in the retirement age, fuel and VAT prices.
Our comrades visited rallies in Samara and Novokuybyshevsk. Both of them opened at 11:00, both were organized by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
In Samara, the rally was held at Bezymyanka, in the square "Motherland". The authorities most often "allow" opposition mass events as far from the city center as possible. There was a heat wave. About 1,000 people gathered at the rally (taking into account those who were not there to the end).
Speakers spoke for exactly one hour. The organizers (KPRF), as well as representatives of LKSM, NPSR and Left Front, spoke. The speeches sounded the usual slogans about the resignation of the government and about voting for the KPRF. On September 9 in the Samara region will be the election of the governor, and the KPRF has its own candidate - Alexei Leskin, one of the main deputies of the provincial Duma (deputy chairman). Of course, many called for voting in the elections for him.
In Novokuibyshevsk, the rally was held on Mendeleyev Square. Just like in Samara, the authorities "removed" the protesters away from the center (see the previous news). About 300 people gathered. We were able to speak and communicate with the participants of the rally. Our newspapers in both cities were distributed instantly.
In addition to the general slogan "The Government to resign," two more have risen: "Putin's resignation" and "Down with all the deputies of United Russia." This is a natural reaction to the behavior of the Russian president, as well as local and federal legislators.
But we do not support the traditional for the KPRF blind faith in "honest" elections. We believe that the slogan "Vote for Leskina" is just self-promotion on the wave of mass protest, and people and the country can not help it in any way. Just like referendums on reforms, because the votes will be counted by the CEC, appointed by the authorities. The withdrawal of a mass protest in the direction of elections is the release of steam into the whistle and the discharge of protest! This has already begun in Novosibirsk - and also under the auspices of the KPRF.
The next rallies in Samara will take place in the same place, on 11 and 18 August, at 11:00. About Novokuibyshevsk will be known later.
Comrades, the struggle is gaining momentum! With each passing day, the oppression intensifies, with each passing day we become stronger and more steadfast. It's time to wake up, it's time to fight for a better life!
