DESPITE THE PROHIBITION NOTICE BY AUTHORITIES, THE MEETING WAS HELD

In Novosibirsk on July 26 on the Embankment of the Ob, the fourth rally against the so-called "pension reform" was held. The organizers of the rally were the Pensioners for a Decent Life Committee, the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (AUCPB), the youth organization New Reds, the RKKP, the Left Front, Novosibirsk motorists and other social and political forces of the city.

There were not many people this time. If on June 28 in Pervomaysky Square (in the center of the city) there were about 2,500 people (judging by the number of signatures collected at the rally), today about 500 people gathered on the Ob River Quay. The ruling power methodically breaks down mass rallies. If on June 16 and 28 the authorities coordinated rallies in the center of the city, then after that they began to prohibit rallies in all central areas of the city (as if they already occupied themselves with other "rallies" every day from 12:00 to 19:30) and sent the workers to the periphery - to the city airport or to the Ob River.

To get to the embankment of the Ob (unlike the city center) is quite problematic, and in the evening - huge traffic jams reach the River Station. Of the inhabitants of the city, few know where the "youngest" Park "Gorodskoe Nachalo" is located, where a monument to Emperor Alexander III was opened a few years ago.

Perhaps the reason is not only this. People are so busy with survival and so zombified by the media that they simply do not care about "some rallies".

Also, the reason is that some political forces in Novosibirsk not only do not mobilize workers to fight, but also cover the criminal practice of banning mass public events of workers. After all, the mayor of the city of Novosibirsk is the first secretary of the Novosibirsk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Lokot, who personally signs people to "protest" to the backyard.

From the former partocrats of the CPSU higher and middle managers in principle to expect any other is not worth it. Social democracy has always been a faithful servant of capital. The KPRF in Novosibirsk in power - that the mayor will be told from the administration of the vice-governor of Travnikov (or the President of the Russian Federation), then he will do so. The mayor concluded a deal - withdrew candidacy for governors in favor of Travnikov in return for a promise to keep him the profitable mayor's chair.

The Novosibirsk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation also held a "rally" on July 28. The Mayor's Office "coordinated" the central site - at SPSTL - in spite of its own prohibitions. Party leaders of the Communist Party decided to "wave" after the outgoing train? After all, the bill has already been adopted in the first reading. Since the initiation of the reform, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation has not indicated its position with mass protests, nor even participated in our mass rallies. This could not but lead to a fall in the KPRF's rating among voters. Besides, "throwing everyone out of the city center" even more provoked indignation among Novosibirsk citizens. To "pull up" their "image", the KPRF also holds a "rally." The question is, is it worth to participate in this "on duty" rally, initiated to "save face" and get the votes of pro-Soviet voters in order to stay at the trough? After all, the elections and the mayor, and the City Council, and the Legislative Assembly are not far off ...

The State Duma of the Russian Federation by votes of "United Russia" has already approved the pension bill in the first reading. The second and third readings are expected this fall. The State Duma of the Russian Federation also adopted in the third reading the law on the increase from January 1, 2019, VAT from 18 to 20%, which, along with the already increased prices for gasoline, will lead to an increase in prices for all goods.

All these adventures of the government of the Russian Federation mean a tough offensive of big capital on the rights of workers, on whose shoulders the burden of social and economic crises is shifted. Along with this, the Government of the Russian Federation, expressing the interests of the oligarchy, refuses at all to introduce a progressive scale of taxation and to nationalize the strategic branches of the economy, which would give the state trillions of budgetary money.

The ruling class destroys one after another all the social gains of the working people. The low retirement age is one of the achievements of socialism in the USSR, which was enshrined in the Constitution of the USSR and guaranteed by the socialist economic system, the absence of unemployment, and guaranteed work. The pension, which was paid from the state budget, provided a decent life.

Only mass organized protest of the citizens of the country can stop the anti-popular reforms.

But the question is not only in the mass protest. First of all, what political and class forces it organizes, in order, forms and methods of struggle. Not only the scale of the protest, but its harsh political and ideological focus on fighting the bourgeois anti-people power can lead to success.

At the rally on July 26, the rally participants declared their resolute NO to the policy of capital offensives on the rights of workers and demanded:

- compliance with the Constitution, which explicitly prohibits the adoption of laws that infringe the rights of citizens;

- the nationalization of strategic sectors of the economy and the introduction of a progressive scale of taxation;

- recall of the criminal bill on raising the retirement age;

- respect for the rights of citizens to freedom of assembly, to stop the criminal practice of banning public protest actions in the city center.

At the rally, we collected signatures against raising the retirement age. Tens of thousands of signatures of Novosibirsk have already been collected.

The participants of the meeting will be branded by the shame of the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from United Russia from the Novosibirsk region (Alexander Karelin, Maxim Kudryavtsev, Alexander Zhukov, Andrey Kalichenko and Dmitry Perminov) who voted for the pension adventure and called on all Novosibirsk citizens to refuse to trust them in the next elections.

We, the Bolsheviks, call for not losing faith in victory and resolutely rise to the fight against predatory pension reforms!

The restoration of the USSR and socialism through the socialist revolution - this is today the only way out of the present desperation!

OUR CAUSE IS RIGHT - WE WILL WIN!
